Textbook pre-orders allow students to pre-order courses on eRATEX. Students can select courses from a list (personalized booklist) or by manual entry, and checkout through the normal checkout flow.
On this screen are Pre-Orders that have been placed. When available stock is on hand an order may be filled by converting it.
Pre-orders can be configured to automatically convert when they are ready. See Pre-Order Configuration for more information.
At the top is a summary report of Pre-Orders.
You can also search for specified Pre-Orders for more information about them.

Ready to Convert
Student's pre-order materials (and condition--new, used, and so on) are available and ready to pick and ship
Pending
Pre-order statuses display here, in the following colors:
Green: Course request has been uploaded and inventory is on hand for requested ranking/choice of book conditions
Yellow: Course has been uploaded, but one or more books are not available for the student's ranking/choice of book conditions
Red: Course has not been uploaded to eRATEX
Closed
Order has been converted to an internet order
Canceled
Order has been canceled either by student's choice, or an eRATEX administrator cancels the order
Editing Pre-Orders
Any order in the Pending or Ready to Convert queue can be edited by an eRATEX administrator. Click Edit in Order Action to edit an order

Required/Optional
Whether to pre-order both required and optional materials, or only required materials
Preferred Materials
Rank the materials conditions in order of preference (New, Used, New Rental, Used Rental, eBook)
Invalid Pre-Orders
If a pre-order reaches an invalid state, it should be reported to support so that it can be researched and resolved.
Invalid pre-orders can be closed by checking the "Convert" checkbox next to each invalid pre-order and then clicking the "Close Selected" button.
