Email Template Editor Updates

  • The Email Template Editor (affectionately known as the "Slot Machine") has been expanded to include the Order Update Notification.
  • The “Order Update Notification” can be everything from a very simple “your order has now shipped in full” to a multi-split form of communication involving back-orders, in-school pickup and credit card problems. There is a separate detailed page HERE to help you to understand how to manage all of the different scenarios, and how to test your work. Mainly, it’s a ‘set it and forget it’ process!
  • The Order Update Notification uses Topic Email.Templates.Ratex.OrderUpdate.
    • This is intended to replace the emails using notification.orderupdate.xml.config.
    • Admins can send a test order update email to themselves by navigating to Admin > Configuration menu > Setup email, entering an order number that exists, and clicking "Send Test Order Update Notification"
  • The receipt email generated by My Transactions has been updated with payment method information and style improvements.
    • eRATEX is becoming more connected to the individual student via “My Transactions” and “My GiftCards”.
    • Within “My Transactions” is the important ability to repeat the sending of a historic receipt. The outbound ‘repeat-receipt’ can now also be managed from the Slot Machine.
    • The topic used for this is now Email.Templates.Ratex.ReceiptAllAboutMe and existing content has been migrated to it.
    • The topic RATEX.Email.Template.Receipt has been renamed to Email.Templates.Ratex.ReceiptAllAboutMe to reflect the fact that it is used specifically for the All About Me receipts and not general store receipts.

Guided Navigation: In-Stock Filter

  • Guided Navigation now supports a filter which reduces the product grid down to In-Stock products only
    • This requires a manual upgrade for existing sites using Guided Navigation
      • If upgrading Guided Navigation, go to the administration console Configuration - Settings, and disable GuidedNavigation.IsInstalled prior to the upgrade
    • Guided Navigation is now custom-built for bookstores. If you’ve not signed up yet, please reach out to Prism|RBS support for more information.

Toggle-Eye for Passwords

  • An eye icon has been added to password fields which allows the shopper to temporarily view the password they are typing by clicking the eye
    • A new Configuration Password.Display.Toggle.Enabled controls whether the toggle is available or not (enabled by default)

Sign In Page Checkbox

  • A new Configuration - Settings - RATEX.Signin.RememberMe.Enabled will hide the "Remember me when I revisit this site" (or "Stay signed in on this computer") checkbox and tooltip on the sign in page when disabled (enabled by default)
    • To edit the tooltip, navigate to Content - Manage Prompts and search for the prompt named: account.rememberpassword.whats-this.content
