To add an Authentication Rule:

1. In eRATEX Admin, click Configuration > eRATEX > Advanced > Student Authentication Rules.
2. In Select an Authentication Rule, select the circumstances that trigger student authenticaion. Options include:
   • Shipping Method Selection
   • Rental Agreement Acceptance
   • Viewing Product
   • Adding Product to Cart
   • Checking Out
3. ​Click Add Rule.
4. Select Enabled.
5. ​If you would like to limit the authentication trigger to specific product or shipping types, in Conditions, make a selection from the following options:
   • VR Product Type
     • TX
     • TR
     • GR
   • Shipping Method
     • As depends on your Shipping Types configuration
   • Textbook Type
     • As depends on your Textbook Types configuration
   • Product
     • Search for products that trigger authentication
   • Category
     • Search for product categories to trigger authentication (optionally, Include Child Categories)
   • VR Product Class
     • Type a comma-separated list of VR Product Class(es) to trigger authentication
6. Select Includes or Does not include.
7. Add additional conditions or rules as necessary.
8. Click Save.
