Creating Rental Topics

In eRATEX, rental agreements are topic pages. See Topics for instructions for creating and maintaining topic pages.

Associating Rental Topics with Terms

1. Click Configuration > eRATEX > Modify Terms.
2. Select the term by clicking Edit.
3. In Rental Agreement Topic select the appropriate rental agreement topic.
4. Click Update.

Activating Rental Collateral

1. Click Configuration > eRATEX > Rental and eBook Configuration.
2. In Textbook Rental Configuration, select either:
   • ​Require Collateral for both vendor and bookstore collateral
   • Or vendor only
3. Click Submit.

Note: Collateral is only available for Partial Authorization. If you have CyberSource Full Authorization, or Touchnet, never enable collateral.​​

Deactivating Rental Collateral

1. Click Configuration > eRATEX > Rental and eBook Configuration.
2. In Textbook Rental Configuration, select Do not require collateral at all.
3. Click Submit.
